Martin - known as Marty - has had 40 years of experience in the law. His specialist areas include all aspects of urban and rural property transactions, as well as company and commercial law, making him a natural choice for clients interested in the establishment of effective business structures. Marty also has a strong interest in the intricacies of sports law.

Outside the office, Marty is well-known in rugby circles and has been a popular senior and representative rugby coach. He is a staunch supporter of HSOB Club. In quieter moments, Marty is very happy relaxing on the banks of a river, fishing rod in hand.

Les has been in practice since 1974 and has extensive experience in a number of areas, including urban and rural property transactions, purchase, structuring and financing of businesses, general commercial work, relationship property, elder law and the protection of personal and property rights, franchising, estates and trusts.

Les is an avid skier and very keen cyclist and is Past President of the Avonhead Rotary Club.

Hans has been active in the law since 1976 and has developed a strong litigation practice, especially in civil matters. His other special interests are employment, education, family protection, relationship property, insurance and commercial law - especially receiverships and liquidations. Hans is also an accredited member of LEADR: Lawyers Engaged In Alternative Disputes Resolution.

Hans is a past president of the Canterbury District Law Society and lists skiing and diving among his leisure pursuits. He is also a chorister of some note.

Originally from Blenheim, Gerry began his law career in 1979. He has extensive experience in most aspects of property development (both urban and rural), commercial transactions of all types, estates (including family protection issues), franchising and retirement planning.

Gerry is highly-regarded in rowing circles. He is a life member of the Canterbury Rowing Association, a member of the board of NZ Rowing and also currently acts as NZ Rowing's Ombudsman.

Alex originally joined Clark Boyce in 1981 before a period of traveling and working throughout the South Island. He was invited to rejoin the firm as a partner in 1989. He is widely experienced in property law, business and commercial law, immigration, estates and trusts.

Alex is an avid lover of sport (more spectator than player these days!) - still retaining a fairly good handle on his tennis racket! He is also closely associated with water skiing, where his two children are making their marks in Canterbury ranks.

Allister began practising the law in 1986 and found his niche in criminal, traffic and civil litigation and coroners' proceedings. He has completed a LEADR mediation workshop and advises on employment law, arbitration and disputes resolution. He also undertakes personal and commercial debt recovery.

Allister is President of the Canterbury/Westland Branch of the NZ Law Society. Much of his leisure time these days is spent following the sporting pursuits of his young family.

A graduate of 1991, Glenda started in practice the following year. Although she has wide experience in most areas of the law, Glenda now focuses on all aspects of family law, together with relationship property matters, immigration and consumer rights. Glenda is Convenor of the Canterbury District Law Society Family Law Committee and a Court approved Lawyer for children.

Glenda's wide interests include being a member of ZONTA and Patron of the University of Canterbury Foundation.
